World Choir Games 2016<\/a> im russischen Sotschi. Grund genug f\u00fcr den Pr\u00e4sidenten der Weltchorspiele, G\u00fcnter Titsch, den S\u00e4ngerinnen und S\u00e4ngern aus seinem Heimatland einen Besuch abzustatten und nachzufragen, wie es ihnen bisher gef\u00e4llt.<\/p>\n<p>Im Green Theater, der Open Air-B\u00fchne im Riviera Park, war Gelegenheit zum Meet &amp; Greet. Titsch h\u00f6rte sich ihre Probe vor dem gro\u00dfen Auftritt an und war sichtlich angetan von den jungen Stimmen des 2008 gegr\u00fcndeten Chores. 2013 gewann der Chor bereits auf nationaler Ebene den ersten Preis des Landeswettbewerbes in Nordrhein-Westfalen.<\/p>\n<p>Am Mittwochnachmittag waren sie erstmals auf internationalen Parkett bei den <a href=\"http:\/\/www.worldchoirgames.de\" target=\"_blank\">World Choir Games<\/a> in der Kategorie \u201eJazz, Gospel and Popchoirs\u201c mit starker Konkurrenz im Championswettbewerb am Start. Dietrich Thomas und sein Chor waren zufrieden mit ihrem Auftritt und der pr\u00e4sentierten Leistung, best\u00e4tigten sie Titsch. Und auch sonst gefiel ihnen die Schwarzmeer-Stadt Sotschi sehr.<\/p>\n<p>Jetzt sind neugierig, ob sie eine Medaille mit nach K\u00f6ln nehmen k\u00f6nnen und warten gemeinsam auf das Ergebnis der Jury. Reason enough for the World Choir Games President G\u00fcnter Titsch to visit the singers from his home country and to find out how they like the event so far.\r\n\r\nIn the Green Theater, the Open Air Stage in Riviera Park was a suitable background for a Meet & Greet. Titsch listened to the choirs rehearsal before the big performance and was obviously delighted by the young voices of the choir that was founded in 2008. In 2013 the choir won the first prize in the national competition of the land North-Rhine Westphalia already.\r\n\r\nOn Wednesday afternoon they performed for the first time on an international stage in the competitive category \u201cJazz, Gospel and Pop Choirs\u201d of The Champions Competition of the World Choir Games. Dietrich Thomas and his choir were happy about their performance and the choral level they had presented, as they confirmed towards Titsch. Also in general they are enjoying their time in Sochi, the Black Sea city.\r\n\r\nNow they are curious whether they will bring a medal home to Cologne and are looking forward to the scores of the jury.
