INTERKULTUR-Pr\u00e4sident G\u00fcnter Titsch bei Verleihung der \u201eGoldenen Sportpyramide 2017\u201c im Kanzleramt in Berlin dabei.<\/strong><\/p>\n

INTERKULTUR-PR\u00c4SIDENT G\u00fcnter Titsch unterst\u00fctzt nicht nur die Jugend im Chorgesang, sondern seit vielen Jahren auch als Kurator der Deutschen Sporthilfe und deren Aktivit\u00e4ten zur F\u00f6rderung von Nachwuchssportlern.<\/p>\n

\u201eChorgesang und Sport bringen vor allem junge Menschen rund um den Globus zusammen. Sie f\u00f6rdern damit das friedliche Zusammenleben der V\u00f6lker\u201c, sagte Titsch zu diesem Engagement am Rande der Verleihung der \u201eGoldenen Sportpyramide 2017\u201c im Kanzleramt in Berlin. Dort erhielt beim Empfang der Deutschen Sporthilfe im Rahmen \u201e50 Jahre Deutsche Sporthilfe\u201c in Anwesenheit von Bundeskanzlerin Angela Merkel, Kanzleramtsminister Peter Altmaier und Innenminister Dr. Thomas de Maizi\u00e9re und weiterer Prominenz die Ski-Legende Christian Neureuther diese Auszeichnung f\u00fcr sein Lebenswerk verliehen. Damit wurde seine Vorbildfunktion f\u00fcr die Jugend sowohl im gesellschaftlichen als auch im beruflichen Bereich gew\u00fcrdigt. Gleichzeitig ist Neureuther damit in die \u201eHall of Fame des deutschen Sports“ aufgenommen worden.<\/p>\n

Titsch gratulierte dem Preistr\u00e4ger und f\u00fchrte im Rahmen des Empfangs zahlreiche Gespr\u00e4che, wie mit der weltweit bekannten deutschen \u201eEisprinzessin\u201c Katarina Witt und weiteren Promis. Dabei warb er f\u00fcr die weltweite Chorbewegung mit INTERKULTUR<\/a> als weltweit wichtigstem F\u00f6rderer.<\/p>\n

Bereits am Samstag reist Titsch ins lettische Riga. Dort werden am Wochenende die European Choir Games mit 155 Ch\u00f6ren von ihm er\u00f6ffnet werden. Erstmals wird die Eurovision mit ihrem europ\u00e4ischen Sendernetz in Kooperation mit INTERKULTUR auch den \u201eChoir of the Year\u201c in einer TV-Show ermitteln. In Deutschland werden Aufzeichnungen im WDR und SWR sowie auf ARTE ausgestrahlt. \u00dcber das Internet kann man aber auch hier<\/a> bereits am 22. Juli live dabei sein.<\/p>\n

INTERKULTUR President G\u00fcnter Titsch does not only promote the youth in choral singing. In his capacity as a trustee at the Deutsche Sporthilfe he also supports its activities to promote talented junior sportspeople.<\/p>

\u201cChoir singing and sports bring together mainly young people all around the globe. They promote a peaceful living together of the people,\u201d said Titsch concerning this engagement on the edges of the awarding of the \u201cGolden Sports Pyramid 2017\u201d at the German Chancellery in Berlin. During a reception of the Deutsche Sporthilfe in the course of celebrating \u201c50 years of Deutsche Sporthilfe\u201d the legend of skiing, Christian Neureuther, received a lifetime achievement award in appreciation of his position as a role model for the youth in both professional and societal fields \u2013 attended by the German Chancellor Angela Merkel, minister of the chancellery Peter Altmaier and Interior Minister Dr. Thomas de Maizi\u00e8re and other celebrities. At the same time Neureuther was thus added to the \u201cHall of Fame of German Sports\u201d.<\/p>

Titsch expressed his congratulations to the awardee and in the course of the reception hold many talks with celebrities like the German \u201cPrincess on ice\u201d, Kati Witt and others. At the same time he promoted the worldwide choral movement and INTERKULTUR<\/a> as its most important supporter worldwide.<\/p>

On Saturday Titsch will travel to Riga, Latvia, where he will open the Grand Prix of Nations & European Choir Games 2017, which will be attended by 155 choirs. For the first time the Eurovision Broadcasting Union and its international broadcasting network will determine the \u201cChoir of the Year\u201d in a TV show in cooperation with INTERKULTUR. In Germany the recordings will be aired on WDR and SWR as well as on ARTE. On July 22 there will also be a live stream available at www.eurovisionchoir.tv<\/a>.<\/p>
