In the past INTERKULTUR has experienced again and again in the context of numerous projects and events the high value choral music has for the Chinese population – both young and old. The World Choir Games have already been held twice in China, 2006 in Xiamen and 2010 in Shaoxing. Since then a close collaboration with China and the respective regions has been cultivated as well as a great cooperation with the Chinese embassies and consulates all over the world, which we appreciate very much.
In the summer of this year, a new series of events, “World Choir Events in the Belt and Road”, was established to further promote cultural exchange and cooperation between countries and regions along the Silk Road. And we are already looking forward to continuing this project in the coming years.
We congratulate the People’s Republic of China on this 70th anniversary and look forward to continuing and further developing the successful relationships of recent years.
