30 years INTERKULTUR – 75 years Günter Titsch
The saying “One should enjoy the festivities as they fall” is probably a true word, especially in the current difficult times, even if the momentary restrictions unfortunately do not allow a celebration as we wish or imagine it. Nevertheless, we should use these special moments to reminisce together and look forward to an even better future.
This week, my birthday is coming up and I would have loved to celebrate it again with family, friends and all the wonderful people who are close to me and have accompanied me for a part of my journey. We all hope for a soon improvement of the situation, which will allow again a normal life for all people of this world. So, I also hope that at a later date we can meet again in a big festive round and spend some nice hours together.
And INTERKULTUR also has an anniversary to celebrate: More than 30 years have already passed since we, driven by a simple idea, started to overcome borders with music and to bring people from all over the world together in song.
Since we unfortunately cannot celebrate these festivities together in person, my team has come up with some nice surprises. To celebrate my 75th birthday as well as the 30th anniversary of INTERKULTUR, some interesting new videos will be released on January 28th throughout the day, starting at 10:00 a.m CET, on interkultur.tv and my Facebook page.
